Pecan
Pie
1 cup white corn syrup
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/3 cup of melted butter
1 heaping cup of shelled pecans
3 whole eggs
dash of vanilla
pinch of salt
2 store bought pie shell
Preheat oven to 350
Cook:45-50 minutes
1) In a large bowl
cream the corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt together in
a mixing bowl.
2) Allow the butter to cool down then add it to the bowl and mix
3) Remove it from the mixer and add the pecans and mix by hand
4) Add it to 2 pie shells and hit the pans on a cookie sheet to level
off
5) Place in the oven and cook until a toothpick comes out clean
